The Antofagasta Bodyboard Festival 2026 came to an end after several days of competition at Nilda Point, bringing together some of the most important riders on the world tour in a new edition of the championship held in northern Chile.
In the Men Division category, South African rider Tristan Roberts claimed the title after a solid performance on finals day, capping off a week where he was one of the most consistent competitors of the event.

In Dropknee, Ecuadorian rider Jericco Rosero secured one of the biggest victories of his career after taking the win in a division that featured several of the world’s top DK riders. Throughout the championship, competitors such as Sammy Morretino and Amaury Lavernhe also stood out, reaching the decisive rounds.

Chile was also represented in the final stages of the event by Arica’s Moisés Silva, who advanced to the semifinals in the Men Division category, finishing as runner-up. In DK, Iquique rider Leonardo Alar earned third place in the division.

The 2026 edition brought together more than 70 international riders, and throughout the week the waves at Nilda Point delivered intense heats and deep barrels in another memorable edition of the championship. More than 12,000 people attended the festival during the competition days, once again establishing the Antofagasta Bodyboard Festival as one of the most important bodyboarding events in South America.
