The start of a new season always brings expectations, but the World Surf League already has a clear starting point. The 2026 Preseason Ranking, based on the conclusion of the last Championship Tour, places the surfers who now stand as the main references of the global circuit.

Each season, the Championship Tour of the World Surf League (WSL) brings together the best surfers on the planet. Competing across some of the most demanding waves in the world, these athletes accumulate points event after event in pursuit of the most prestigious title in professional surfing.
