The event, which kicked off the South American circuit, was characterized by a high technical level, recording 27 scores above 8 points, something uncommon in a Qualifying Series competition, highlighting both the quality of the waves and the performance of the competitors.

In the women’s final, both surfers remained close on the scoreboard, but Sophia Medina (BRA) secured the victory over Daniella Rosas (PER), the defending champion from the previous edition, with a total of 11.17 to 9.50 points.
