The ocean became the main protagonist of the new menswear collection under the creative direction of Pharrell Williams.
The French fashion house unveiled in Paris a collection inspired by surfing, skateboarding, and coastal living, creating one of the most talked-about runway shows of the season. The presentation transformed the Cité Internationale Universitaire into a beach-like setting, creating an atmosphere that transported guests away from the pace of city life and closer to the freedom associated with the sea, surrounded by sand and waves.

The show explored the relationship between contemporary luxury and board-riding culture, which has shaped generations along the coasts of California and Hawaii. Among the standout pieces were direct references to surfing, including custom surfboards designed by the fashion house, garments inspired by wetsuits, lightweight fabrics and relaxed silhouettes reflecting the influence of travel and coastal lifestyles.

Days before the show, Louis Vuitton introduced this vision through an audiovisual campaign centered around the ocean and narrated by Brick Howze, founder of Ebony Beach Club. The project presented surfing as an experience capable of bringing communities together through water, a concept Pharrell translated onto the runway through a collection that blends fashion, culture, and lifestyle.

Beyond seasonal trends, the collection demonstrates how surfing continues to expand its influence beyond the world of sports. What began as an activity closely tied to coastal communities now inspires industries as diverse as music, art, and luxury fashion. On this occasion, Louis Vuitton turned that connection to the ocean into the central theme of a collection that brought the spirit of surfing to the heart of Paris.
