Matilda Bultó Reaches the Podium in La Bocana Ahead of the ISA World Junior

The Chilean surfer secured third place in the second stop of El Salvador’s national circuit, held at Playa La Bocana.
In a competition that gave her the opportunity to compete against representatives from different countries ahead of her participation in the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship, the Chilean athlete delivered a strong performance in this second stop of the Salvadoran circuit.

The podium was topped by Canadian Ocea Green, who took first place, while Argentina’s Victoria Muñoz finished second, with Bultó completing the podium representing Chile. This event provided an important opportunity for the young surfer to share heats and compete against international athletes in the waves of La Bocana.
Her participation takes on particular significance with the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship approaching, where she will represent Chile in the Under-16 category. The event will take place from September 4 to 13 in El Salvador, with La Bocana and El Sunzal serving as venues for the world championship.

For this reason, her third-place finish in La Bocana becomes a valuable step in her preparation as the Chilean representative continues to gain international experience. She now has her sights set on repeating this achievement and fighting for a podium finish at the World Junior Championship.
