An emotional day unfolded at the Tierra de Campeones Stadium, where four outstanding local athletes were honored for their contribution to national surf and bodyboard.
Among those recognized were our Queen of the Wave, Isidora and Matilda Bultó, alongside Viviana Araya, as well as surfer Emiliana Rojas, who was also part of this well-deserved tribute. Four names that strongly represent the present and future of board sports in Iquique.
The recognition was presented by Cesare Rossi, president of Club Deportes Iquique, who highlighted the trajectory and impact of these athletes who have carried the city’s name to the highest levels of national and international competition.
For our Queens, this applause is no coincidence, it is the result of years of dedication, discipline, and love for the waves.

Viviana Araya, current national bodyboard champion, is going through one of the strongest seasons of her career. Closing out 2025 and beginning 2026, she secured first place in Huasco and at Monolito de Chanco, in addition to becoming a two-time Latin American champion at the Latin Girl 2026 of the ALAS Global Tour in Arica, confirming her competitive growth at every stage.
Matilda Bultó continues to establish herself on the international scene. A member of the national team, Top 7 junior on the world circuit and ranked within the Top 25 globally according to the International Surfing Association, her projection speaks of a young talent already competing among the world’s best.
Isidora Bultó, meanwhile, adds another brilliant season to her career. A national team member, current South American champion and national Open and Junior champion, Isi continues to consolidate her position as one of the most solid surfers in the country within her categories.

The recognition at Tierra de Campeones celebrates more than results. It celebrates effort, perseverance, and a deep passion for the waves. It also sends a clear message to new generations: from Iquique, it is possible to dream big.
For Queen of the Wave, it is a source of pride to support and highlight the journey of these women who continue writing history both in and out of the water.
