The Queen of the Wave team experienced a new day of filming as part of the chapter dedicated to Paloma Freyggang. This time, the focus was on an intimate conversation with her partner, Omar Ríos Ferrada, bodyboarder and life partner, who shared a closer, more personal perspective on Paloma and the path they have built together, both in and out of the ocean.
During the interview, Omar spoke with admiration and affection, highlighting Paloma’s strength, her outlook on life, her journey through motherhood, and the impact she has had as a role model for other women. An intimate reflection that reveals the most human side of one of the great references of Chilean bodyboarding.
The day also included time in the water, where Paloma and Omar paddled out together to bodyboard, sharing a few waves and naturally showing the connection between them and the love they both have for this ocean-driven way of life.
